The email marketing page

Todays eBay Tip:

The email marketing newsletter is THE key to repeat business if using eBay tools. The basic store offers more emails than you would probably ever need, 5000 a month, and is a great way to get a fan base started.

Some cool sales I have seen are:

Anniversary Sale: free shipping

Two for Tuesday:buy two get free shipping

eBays Birthday: Buy two get one free

National Ham Sandwich Day: get half off of your second purchase if you ate a ham sandwich today

Any reason is great. Your emails should be brief and to the point.

Wording on your description page

Todays eBay Tip:

Remember that most of the time you have about three seconds of reading on your description page. It's important to catch your buyers attention and not waste it on mundane information. If you have too much information at the beginning and not enough pictures, your buyer WILL NOT read the rest.

Seperate your description page with upclose pictures of the product to keep your readers attention for the rest of your text

eBay tip of the day:
Selling Manager Pro is the one eBay tool that is worth the money.

If you haven't tried the Selling Manager Pro template it is definitely my favorite eBay tool. It allows you to make edits on your listings in bulk, relist items quickly and get your sales view at a glance. I like the email marketing program, the markdown manager tool is great when it is working properly, and you can easily customize it to show only what you need to see.

If you haven't tried Selling Manager Pro. I highly recommend it.

eBay tip of the Day

Detailed Seller Ratings:

The Stars that are now a part of the feedback may soon come to be a big part of the eBay shopping experience. Starting now in the UK the auctions will be displayed by best DSR scores first. In particular, the best shipping experience first.

This is the time before the new year starts to get your DSR scores up as high as you can. There may be some great things coming for those who have high scores in this area.

eBay has mentioned that they really want to increase the incentives to the good sellers. And as eBay feels these Detailed Seller Ratings are the best thing yet to determine good sellers, I would highly recommend getting these scores up quickl
